Lebanon couple attends Andrew Jackson Foundation event

The Andrew Jackson Foundation held an evening with Jon Meacham on March 2 at the National Archives in Washington.

The event included a special presentation of selected papers from the National Archives’ Jackson collection. More than 100 reception guests, including some of the nation’s top opinion leaders, national business leaders and foundation trustees, as well as Tennessee and national government and political leaders, were in attendance.

Among those attending the event were CedarStone Bank president Bob McDonald, who also serves as board chair for The Hermitage, and his wife, Susan.

The Andrew Jackson Foundation exists to preserve the legacy of Andrew Jackson, as well as his home, The Hermitage. The foundation is committed to presenting the complete story of Jackson – pros and cons – as an integral part of the story of the U.S.
